报告人简介：郗平, 河北乐亭人, 2014年毕业于西安交通大学并获理学博士学位, 之后留校任教, 现为西安交通大学数学与统计学院副教授. 他的研究兴趣包括代数迹函数的解析理论及应用, 素数分布与L函数等方面, 已在IMRN, Math. Z.及J. Number Theory等国际期刊上发表学术论文十余篇, 目前主持国家自然科学基金青年基金一项.

报告摘要：The study of fundamental solutions to Pell equations is intimately connected with class numbers of imaginary quadratic fields. In this talk, we will discuss the recent progress on the counting problem of fundamental solutions to Pell equations with prescribed sizes. The tools will be analytic.
