报告摘要： 

In this talk our aim is to present some new results on basic hypergeometric functions from the point of view of classical complex and real analysis. The ratio of q-hypergeometric functions are represented by means of g-fractions that lead to certain results on q-starlikeness of the q-hypergeometric functions defined on the open unit disk. Moreover, some Turán type inequalities for q-hypergeometric and q-confluent hypergeometric functions are presented, which are obtained by using the methods developed in the case of classical Kummer and Gauss hypergeometric functions. 

专家简介： 

Árpád Baricz Romanian Hungarian mathematician was born in 1981. 09. 07. 
He graduated in 2003 at Babe?–Bolyai University (BBU) in mathematics, got master degree in 2004 and graduated as a PhD in 2008 at BBU and the University of Debrecen. He works at the BBU since 2007, and from 2012 he got a research professorship at Óbuda University (Hungary). 

Dr. Baricz's research area is on special functions (mainly Bessel and 
hypergeometric functions), and analytical inequalities. He wrote two books and has almost 100 scientific papers, many of them are in highly ranked applied mathematics journals.
