Abstract:
Convergence of Fourier series expansion can be very slow,especially when you xpand sparse signals. We introduce a fast expansion method of the Fourier type that normally gets more than 90% of the total energy of the given signal after 6 or 7 iteration steps. As the most effective greedy algorithm, it has great advantages over Fourier, as well as over the wavelet and neural network type methods, etc. It serves as one of the latest sparse representation methods. The idea is valid for both 1-D and n-D signals and practical algorithms are available. In the 1-D case it offers perfect positive frequency decomposition. It has been effectively used to 1-D signal nalysis, image processing and system identification.
钱涛教授简介:
1984 北京大学博士学位 (调和分析)。1986 -2000 澳大利亚 博士后及 澳洲高校教师。2000 - 至今 澳门大学(数学系主任,特聘教授)。2012 获澳门自然科学一等奖。共发表近190研究论文及书籍,其中国际期刊论文 153 篇,专著 2 册。
