摘要：In this talk I first review the concept of the fractal, and give many interesting examples. I then review the concept of the heat kernel, and give the equivalence condition for heat kernel estimates for non-local Dirichlet forms on metric measure spaces including fractals.

报告人简介：胡家信老师是清华大学教授、博士生导师，主要研究领域为偏微分方程、分形几何和度量空间上的分析学，至今已在Invent. Math., Comm. Pure Appl. Math., Adv. Math., Trans. Amer. Math. Soc., J. Funct. Anal.等高水平期刊发表论文近60篇，另有专著《分形分析引论》。
