报告摘要:

Large-scale brain MRI datasets recently become available, e.g., developing Human Connectome Projects, Baby Connectome Project, and National Database for Autism Research. These multi-site datasets afford unprecedented opportunities for precise charting the early brain developmental trajectories, providing important insights into the origins and aberrant evolving patterns of neurodevelopmental diseases. This talk will introduce a comprehensive set of advanced infant-dedicated analysis tools for infant brain MRIs. The topics will cover harmonization, tissue segmentation, motion correction, and super resolution.

专家简介:

Dr. Wang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Radiology, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is leading the Developing Brain Computing Lab. His research focuses on the development of innovative computational methods and tools for processing and analyzing medical imaging data. His work has been published in Nature Protocols and Nature Methods. Four papers have received the most cited article and his google scholar has 10000+ citations. Recently, he has developed and released a comprehensive set of advanced infant-dedicated analysis tools for infant brain MRIs (http://www.ibeat.cloud), which were supported by NIH R01. To date, he has successfully processed 16,000+ infant brain images with various protocols/scanners and received numerous praise and positive feedback from 130+ institutions. He has also released processed results on 12,000+ scans from OASIS3 and ADNI.
