The School of Mathematics and Statistics of Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology (formerly named Nanjing Institute of Meteorology), has staffs over 80 (including three people who enjoy special government allowances, one Fok Ying Tung Education Fund winner, and nine Professors of the “333 Project” and “Qing Lan Project”) and 10 overseas non-full-time Distinguished Professors. At postgraduate level, we offer PhD program in Space Weather, and Master Programs in Basic Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computing Mathematics, Probability and Statistics, Operational Research and Cybernetics, and Space Weather. We offer undergraduate degree majors in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Information and Computing Science, and Statistics, all those are Key disciplines of Jiangsu Province. Especially our Information and Computing Science is both one of comprehensive innovation majors of the national Ministry of Education and one of leader majors of Jiangsu Province, and Mathematics is one of key disciplines of the National Meteorological Bureau.
Over 800 undergraduate students are currently registered for BSc degrees, and about 100 postgraduate students are registered for MSc or PhD degrees. The school has Mathematics Education Experiment Center, Institute of Space Weather, Fluid Dynamics Research Institute and other research institutions. Our scientific research results in areas, such as differential equations, data processing, functional theory, algebra and mathematical statistics, are in the domestic advanced level. We carry out extensive and in-depth cooperation with the National Satellite Meteorological Center on space weather disciplinary construction and space weather operations.
According to the need of development, we are now facing the overseas open recruitment, and announce as follows:
1. Position and Numbers
Ten academic staffs and academic leaders
Main fields: Math, Statistics, Systems and Control, Information and Computing Science, Space Weather, Space Physics, and other relevant disciplines and specialty.
2. Requirements and Salary
I. Requirements and salary for academic leaders
(1) Good health, younger than 55 years old, non-restriction on nationality (the age may be relaxed for particularly outstanding person, and will be not limited for person who won major international awards);
(2) Decency, strong enterprise, strong ability on organization and team cooperation;
(3) Overseas doctorate and worked overseas at least three years, or domestic doctorate and worked overseas at least 5 years;
(4) Versed in academic research and outstanding achievements in the past five years;
(5) Pay a certain settling-in allowance; annual salary of 200-2000 thousand Chinese Yuan for first 5 years; the specific settling-in allowance and annual salary is determined according to the relevant principles of the university after Negotiable.
II. Requirements and salary for academic staff
(1) Good health, younger than 40 years old, non-restriction on nationality;
(2) Decency, strong enterprise, strong ability on organization and team cooperation;
(3) Domestic doctorate and worked overseas at least 2 years, or overseas doctorate;
(4) High academic attainments, outstanding achievements in the past five years;
(5) Pay a certain settling-in allowance; annual salary of 150-600 thousand Chinese Yuan for first 5 years; the specific settling-in allowance and annual salary is determined according to the relevant principles of the university after Negotiable.
III. Team recruitment
The team who has the same area of expertise will be given priority consideration. The team composed of staff must be more than three people; the team leader is required to meet the conditions of academic leaders, the team members must meet the conditions of the academic backbone.

南京信息工程大学数学与统计学院招聘公告

南京信息工程大学（原南京气象学院）数学与统计学院现有教职工80人，其中享受国务院政府特殊津贴3人，霍英东教育基金获得者1人，“333工程”和“青蓝工程”9人。另有海外非全时特聘教授10人。现设有空间天气学博士点，基础数学、应用数学、计算数学、概率论与数理统计、运筹学与控制论、空间天气学6个硕士点，和数学与应用数学、信息与计算科学、统计学3个江苏省重点本科专业。数学为国家气象局重点学科，信息与计算科学同时为教育部综合改革试点专业、江苏省特色专业。
学院目前有全日制在校硕、博士研究生近100人，本科生800人。设有数学教育实验中心、空间天气研究所、流体动力学研究院等研究机构。在微分方程、数据信息处理、泛函分析理论、代数学、数理统计等方面的科学研究处于国内先进水平。学院与国家卫星气象中心就空间天气学科建设和空间天气业务开展广泛深入的合作。
根据学院发展需要，现面向海外公开招聘，公告如下：
一、招聘岗位和计划数
学科领军人才/学科带头人和学术骨干10名
专业领域：数学、统计学、系统与控制、信息与计算科学、空间天气、空间物理等相关学科与专业
二、招聘条件和待遇
（一）学科带头人
1、身体健康，年龄55岁以下，国籍不限（特别优秀的年龄可适当放宽，如获国际重大奖项者不受年龄限制）；
2、为人正派，事业心强，具有较强的组织协调能力和团队协作能力；
3、获得海外博士学位且在海外工作三年及以上，或者海外博士后5年及以上；
4、学术造诣深厚，近五年科研成绩突出。
5、给付一定安家费，实行年薪，前5年年薪20-200万元，具体根据学校的有关原则确定大致范围后面议。
（二）学术骨干
1、身体健康，年龄在40岁以下，国籍不限；
2、为人正派，事业心强，具有较强的组织协调能力和团队协作能力；
3、获得海外博士学位，或者海外博士后2年及以上；
4、有较高的学术造诣，近五年科研成绩突出。
5、给付一定安家费，实行年薪，前5年年薪15-60万元，具体根据学校的有关原则确定大致范围后面议。
（三）团队招聘
同一专业领域，团队优先引进，团队组成人员须3人以上，团队领军人才须符合学科带头人的条件，团队成员须符合学术骨干的条件。
